pickI enjoyed this follow-up to STONE MAIDENS even more than I expected! Though it‘s been nearly a year since the close of the last book (though I am a bit unclear on what year this actually makes the book set in…), Christine is brought back to southern Indiana following up on the mysterious deaths of 2 female students found in caves. With rule-flouting, ignoring FBI office politics, & a fixed focus on uncovering the killer, this clips along quickly!

She cares about making sure there isn‘t another victim.
