Equis poems insist that despite the fact that most of our everyday reality has been rendered accountable and computable, there is still a region of experience that escapes our GPS-mapped consciousnessan intangible realm where poetry is still possible.

My copy of this book was chewed up during package processing on its way to me. Thankfully, the pages were all still intact, and this gouge just adds character! Haha as for the book itself, I really enjoyed these poems. I‘d never heard of Elaine Equi until I picked up a copy of The Best American Poetry where she was the guest editor. I‘ve now read three of her books and loved them all. Her lines are often short, but she says so much in them. 5⭐️!!

Lindy What a shame that your copy was damaged in transit. I hadn‘t heard of Elaine Equi, so thanks for bringing her work to my attention. 2mo
slategreyskies @Lindy I‘m okay with it being a bit damaged. Now there are no copies anywhere in the world like mine. It‘s entirely unique. As for EE, I think you would enjoy her work. I‘ve loved all 3 books I‘ve read so far, and I just ordered 3 more I haven‘t read yet. Ripple Effect is a compilation book, so you get a selection of her books all in one. It may be a good starting point. Hope you enjoy! 📚💕 2mo
Lindy @slategreyskies I like your attitude regarding the condition of your book. 😊 2mo
