Blue Beetle: Graduation Day
Blue Beetle: Graduation Day | Josh Trujillo
2 posts | 1 read
Jaime Reyes has a lot to juggle. Whether it's his finals for senior year or a new villain tearing up El Paso, Jaime is always torn between two worlds. But when his worlds come crashing together at his high school graduation, nothing will ever be the same. A message from the Reach bombards Jaime's scarab, Khaji Da, and it starts throwing off his connection to the device. And as if that wasn't enough, Jaime's parents and friends are pressuring him about his next steps in life. And when Jaime arrives in beautiful Palmera City for a gap year with his tias working at their restaurant. But Jaime's got another thing on his mind, like who was that mysterious Yellow Beetle, and how are they connected to the Reach message that bombarded his scarab? Can Blue Beetle track down this new scarab, or will this super-heroing bring the full might of the Justice League down on Jaime?

I'm bad with my superheroes. Never ran across the Blue Beetle until the movie previews commercial.

Interesting. While I prefer superhero stories to focus on one hero whether than bundling, I was excited that I was familiar with some of the characters who made an appearance...including Batman!

A good story, about finding your place in the world and believing in yourself...even while others question you.

Look what I found 👏🤩.

I let my new books sit for two weeks before adding them to my library...a pandemic created habit.

Can't wait to read ❕👏☺️.
