Balibee146 Well done to all participating. I feel so worried for my US friends. I'm in the UK but already making even more careful choices about what I buy, where it is manufactured (very complex arghhh) and who owns the business selling it to me. Buying local and independent and small business as much as I can. 5d

1- Household DIY projects...seems neverending, yet we're having too much fun tackling.

2- St. Valentine's Day. Just because I'm single, doesn't mean I skip out on a reason to eat some chocolate 😂🍫💝.

3- Found the Captain Planet DVD collection at Walmart a few months ago, and I've finally had time to watch while we work on our DIY projects. A childhood favorite 🦸‍♂️🌎💍💝.

5- There is an important decision I must make. I'm giving myself the weekend to decide. Without getting into details, whichever direction I select feels like a good decision either way. I just need to make sure the road I pick is the road I need to be traveling 🧭💝.

Thanks @debinhawaii for #5JoysFriday & for the tag 💖🌺💝. Hope you and yours are keeping safe and warm and that your power has returned.

1- Homemade deliciousness, Pizza 🍕, cookies 🍪, and meatballs 😋💝.

2- January 2025 was too chaotic, glad for February 2025 to begin...hopefully far more calmer 🙏💝.

3- sleeping better now that the Rains have been here...and there is more in the forecast! Prayers for those in the scary storms 🙏💝.

AnnCrystal 4- Those Batman quotes inspired a Batman dream, who came and spoke a qoute that I hadn't shared because it was by Harvey Dent. Figured it meant I should post about it.

I also had an epic dream of the Heyoka, who are cultural jesters of the Sioux Lakota & Dakota. They are sacred spirit beings who have the power to heal through good natured humor. Have not researched about them in years, it was fun to see them.

The Spellshop and Winterwood we're absolutely wonderful (slow going on Winterwood but I loved it).

It took me three tries before I found one that worked. I purchased one that burned my eyes, one that made me dizzy, then the third time was a charm.

It's actually my fault, I hadn't wanted to pay the $35. By the time I gave in, it is like I paid $54 (totaling all three glasses)...😂

Well, it had nothing to do with a Christmas slump that I fell into after Jan. 6th, it was purely a reading slump...a real struggle to stay in the story.

Therefore we spent the weekend watching fantasy and Christmas movies (including the TV broadcast of Beauty & The Beast).

It was a rechargeathon, which refuelled my love for all things fantasy and hopefulness.

AnnCrystal This evening I have returned to reading, and without a problem on staying engaged with the story 📚💝.

We had to check for news updates today, due to the fire risks...but limited ourselves.

AnnCrystal 5- our Christmas wonderland is mostly packed away...yet our Christmas tree is still up for a few more days, only with lights and our Holy Mary treetop. This means I can still enjoy a few more evenings of reading beside the Christmas tree 🎄📚💝.
