This is a best friend's sister romance and as such has a dash of forbidden romance. I found it more on the fluff side. I liked the characters and the plot worked. However, there were a few things that happened that in real life would not have turned out so good. I perfer my fiction to be more on the plausible side. Overall enjoyed. 3.5⭐️

This was an okay read — it didn‘t follow the path I expected, which was a nice surprise, but I couldn‘t get connected to the characters and I found the one plot twist a little contrived. Glad it was a Prime Read! I‘ve enjoyed other books by this author, so I wouldn‘t avoid another or anything.
