In a world divided by elemental abilities, four kingdoms have rarely known peace.Koraine always dreamed of seeing the world, and escaping the confines of Morwen, the water kingdom she grew up in. Finally that wish was coming true. Except at a price. She was being forced to marry the prince of their rival kingdom, Abelon the kingdom of fire.Bellamy always knew one day he would become king. He spent every day trying to prove himself as prince to a father with impossible expectations. Never once had he questioned the king's demands. Until his marriage was announced. Being forced to marry a nobleman's daughter from his rival kingdom had never been a part of his plan. With war on the horizon, the pair must first survive the months of traditions leading to their impending marriage. The more they resist and try to fight the inevitable, the harder they find it to deny the feelings buried deep in their hearts.

Mehso-so

2 star. This is like a fan fiction for Zutara. With similarities, but not enough to feel cut and paste. It‘s more like the base. Whereas this focuses more upon a forced marriage where their two opposite elemental countries forge a treaty. I wanted to enjoy it, but found myself skipping ahead. There a beginning to an emotional connection I wanted more of. Between that torture and almost drowning. Give me panic! Surprised by two 2-star spice chapter

Pickpick

Book 3 of 2024 I went into this book blindly and so glad I did. If your a lover of YA (although the characters are 23 yrs old) and fantasy this book is definitely for you. Added bonus is that it's about kings and queens (my faves). If your fans of the Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard this book will fancy all of your likes. It's an enemies to lovers, duty vs. your heart (continue in the comments)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Captivatedbybooks Reading this book you will be thrown into a fantasy world controlled by different natural elements, people with magical powers that are bonded to mystical creatures. It's a well developed world that you are easily captured and held from the first word to the last. I devoured this book. To avoid spoilers my fave quote can be found on page 282, the last paragraph. Oh and I soooo need a sea serpent now! 9mo
