Did I forget to post anything for several months? Yeah
Did I learn a lot about fish sounds? Also yeah- and that‘s more interesting to me.

The one and only thing that could have improved this audio would have been adding the noises these fishes make. I did go to the database mentioned toward the end and spent a while there- both recommended activities.

The physics of sound as explained in this popular science audiobook was sometimes a bit beyond my grasp and narrator Angelina Rocca‘s voice made feel drowsy, yet I enjoyed this overall. The good parts are great! Fascinating stuff about how noise affects underwater life and why should care about that. #CanadianAuthor

I learned from the tagged book that plainfin midshipman, bottomfish that can breathe air and glow in the dark, can also make enough noise when they are courting that it keeps houseboat—dwelling humans awake at night.

If you play birdsong slowed down, it sounds very much like whalesong and vice versa.

Awe is a powerful motivator and many are working to bring the acoustic world beneath the waves to public attention, using technology, science and art.

DNF not because it was bad, I just wasn't feeling it.
