In book 3 of SV Kids, Mrs. Becker is out with the flu and the twins get not one but two different substitute teachers. The first was a pushover but the second, Mr. Marshall, won‘t put up with any shenanigans from the kids. Rumors start flying after a bunch of the kids are hanging out in the park on the weekend and see Mr. Marshall get in the back of a police car. They are convinced he is an escaped criminal! JenlovesJT47 I‘ve read about 6 books so far and there‘s been a page or two missing from each one ☹️ but nothing too big a deal until this one 😆 I‘m reading the Senior Year books, just finished book 3 (read the first 2 earlier this year) and it was missing 3 or 4 pages but luckily I have the first 15 books here with me. The problem is not like the page is ripped out but that they actually scanned 2 pages at a time and they‘re on top of each other and you ⬇️ (edited) 1mo

Though the title changed from its teaser in book #2, the second grade class gets not one but two substitute teachers when Mrs. Becker falls ill. Shenanigans ensue, naturally, but lighthearted ones! Many later books will have plots that churn around the Sweet Valley rumor mill like this one does after they see Mr. Marshall get into a police car! All in all, great fun!

JenlovesJT47 Ok I have a weird request. I‘m reading this book right now, and the one page where it describes why Mr. Marshall was getting in the police car is missing from my downloaded book. Could you tell me what is says? That‘s like the whole plot of the book lol. Page 61. This was a cute one! 1mo
