Death at Carp High
Death at Carp High: A Jake Brown Mystery | Jeremy Gold
1 post | 1 read
Jake Brown and his best friend, Dean, head out to catch some waves before school one morning when they find a body floating in the surf. This sets them on a course never meant to be taught in high school. Applying lessons they've learned from a short lifetime of TV detective shows, they set out to track down the murderer. In the midst of the mystery, Jake finds himself in a romance with a cute female cross-country teammate, and his life is on a track he'd only dreamed of. Now all he has to do is stay alive to realize his dream.--Publisher.

Pickpick

YA mystery. A little too much high school boy thought process for me, but the characters ran true most of the time. I probably should have, but didn‘t see the final twist coming. Two high school surfers discover a dead body early in the morning and decide to solve the case on their own. Between a pick and a so so.
