One of the first books I remember being a favorite. I‘m using it as a fantasy offering for #agameoffavorites I could not find what authors Mayer loves but he did look to Arthur Rackham for illustrating inspiration. (Which is cool as I had a poster of one of Rackham‘s Alice pictures on my bedroom wall as a kid.)

Another book for my niece's baby's nursery.

One Monster After Another is my absolute favourite children's story.
Fantastic illustrations and wonderful story telling.
