I'm starting to really love some of these characters. The color work in this series is perfect, btw. (Pictured is an alternate cover for one of the issues from this volume.) The story really ramped up in this issue, too. Now I fully have no idea what will happen next!

BookmarkTavern Wow! That art is gorgeous! 3y
rjsthumbelina @ozma.of.oz honestly, the series is worth it for the color work alone! 😍 3y

This is one of my favourite comics and one of the few I own all the trades of! This volume is all action, which is nice after a character driven one.

Every Wednesday, I read in my tub (unless traveling, in which case I read in other people's tubs or as close to water as I can). Today is a comic day.

Oh hai, Baal.

Variant art from Vol. 4 of WicDiv, which I enjoyed immensely more than Vol. 3. Glad I decided to stick it out with this series.

If this doesn't convince you to pick up this comic, I don't know what will. 😉

OH MY GOD. SCREAMING. That ending!

I had been lukewarm to Volume 3 because of the lack of plot development (also the variable art quality from the guest artists but that's another rant). Well, this volume made up for that and then some. Wowza!

When's the next volume out???

Between a so-so and a pick, really - but I'm going with pick because ultimately I'm pleased with this volume. I feel like the series is back on track (volume three was underwhelming at best, for me)... but it's still pretty vague on where the story is going. Lot of flash and quips (which is good) - just wish there was more meat on the bones, so to speak. Still interested to see what happens next.

My least favorite volume so far. It's nearly 100% action and shocking twists, but I'm having a hard time connecting with its large cast enough to feel the weight of all those reversals and showdowns and double-crosses etc. It's a lot of pretty colors and fireworks and crazy costume choices but I think I'm falling out of love with the series. 😕 I skimmed through it pretty fast with no desire to re-read.

Alicia I totally agree with the large cast! I'll pick this one up but less and less excited about the series as well. Great pic! 8y

Jokila @Alicia glad I'm not alone! I think I'll give it one more chance but I'm not excited about it anymore ☹️ 8y

Here's hoping that artist Jamie McKelvie and colorist Matt Wilson never again take a sabbatical from this book like they did for issues 11-17. I know I've been a broken record about it, but while the story is intriguing, the art is what makes it great.

This was definitely the most action pack of the trades so far! So much colour, so many graphics, such a fast moving storyline. I really enjoyed it. I'm going to be continuing reading the series in trade form. I don't think I could take the waits between each issue, lol.

Holy hell breaking loose, Batman! I didn't think this series could get any better. I was wrong! (I should have known better.) 💥💥💥💥💥 (5 out of 5 explosive showdowns)
