pickCultural folklore has fascinated me for about as long as I‘ve been reading but I‘d never encountered the Greek legend of the Kallikantzaroi, or Christmas Goblins. Fraser-Green has taken that ancient legend & woven a story that is about family – specifically sisters. Middle grade readers who are interested in exploring folklore and ready for a scary story will appreciate the short chapters, well-paced, action-filled plot, and accessible language.
