I‘m trying to decide if I‘ll continue this #tob25longlist title so I came to Litsy! The prose just reads very … workmanlike? … and the narrator is reminding me of my brother in law. 🫠
BarbaraBB I have been hesitant about reading this one. I loved some of his earlier works but was underwhelmed by some as well. This one is about soccer, right, which I do like, but I still haven‘t picked it up. Curious to see what you‘ll do! (edited) 2mo
