The Wicked Deeds of Daniel Mackenzie | 
pickDaniel is in every book of the other Mackenzie men, a little more grown up each time, but when you meet him he's only about 12. And that lead to not only hesitation to read the book of a character I thought of as a kid, but that it wouldn't be everything. Spoilers, it was everything! And I love that Angela Dawe's reading maintained the voice she's done for Danny all along!! Read the Mackenzies, you won't be sorry 💖💖

theresidentromantic @benchley1 And the only people I love more are the Mackenzie ladies. I love how they're so effortlessly classy and still sassy and great. It's too often that authors equate sassy women and rude women. 6y

theresidentromantic @CoverToCoverGirl I think I would've liked a second confrontation with Hart or for Hart to have been there in the final battle with his brothers. But I really loved that even Danny points out he's a little late to become a Mackenzie male, complete with weird hired servant and a little heartbreak. 6y
