so-soI really wanted to like 'The Manor of Dreams' more than I did. The haunting elements and the descriptions were visually stunning. I just couldn't get into some of the characters. I had a hard time reading about Lucille's plot to destroy the Deng family. I'd rather have more of the haunting and supernatural elements. 3 stars.
