I love WWII historical fiction, especially if it highlights an area I haven‘t read about before. This novel focuses on both the women of the WAAF, especially those manning barrage balloons, and the bespoke fashion industry of London. The characters are great, although Izzy did get on my nerves a little bit (that girl can hold a grudge!). I also love that the novel doesn‘t concentrate on romance but has it as a little extra thrown in. 🌟🌟🌟🌟💫
