You tell ‘em, Jack.

And who knew C.S. Lewis was a bit of a hottie as a young man?

(Shared from lovely The Book Drunkard Facebook page.)

@Butterflyamore 😊

Sharing one of my favorite C.S. Lewis quotes for his birthday! Additionally, I haven't read many biographies of Lewis, but I did enjoy this one.

Libby1 I don't have this one, but I have another one by McGrath about Lewis called Deep Magic, Dragons and Talking Mice. 8y
Daisey @Libby1 I haven't heard of that one; I'll have to look it up. Thanks for the recommendation! 8y

Alister McGrath's biography of CS Lewis is just marvelous. Using some of Lewis' more recently published personal correspondence, McGrath focuses in on the more personal aspects of the famous author's life. #funfridayphoto @Liberty

This is actually quite interesting so far (1917-1918). So much more interesting than the non-fiction books about Agatha Christie that I borrowed. I was beginning to think that I just couldn't read non-fiction.
