I had some blood vessels in my nose cauterized today. My nose is a hot mess at the moment. Stupid side effect from chemo. So, as a treat to myself, I am starting this book. I hope it‘s as good as the others.

Laura317 @Crazeedi Right now, it‘s my favorite series! I‘m trying to draw it out as long as possible. @CarolynM It wasn‘t fun, but the result was good. The book definitely made up for it!! 1w

I loved this book of two international pen pals that forged a friendship so strong that they became like family. Important to note: don‘t ever look down on someone who has less than you or comes from deep poverty. Everyone deserves a chance to become the best they can.

I can‘t with this Audible freebie. I picked it because David Tennant, but I‘m not into erotica. I know others may love it. It‘s just not my thang.

Laughterhp I looked up this book just because your post said David Tennant! 😂 Unfortunately he doesn‘t read the library version. Only reason I would give this book a try! 3w
Soubhiville Huh. I just started the library version today. I‘m about halfway through and it doesn‘t seem like erotica yet... narrated by Megan Follows. Maybe it‘ll get kinky soon? Lol, I was interested for the vampire. 3w
Laura317 @Laughterhp if you don‘t have Audible, I can send it to you to try. @Soubhiville I wanted David Tennant and a good vampire story. 3w

I started this Friday night - the Scottish accent is lovely, but sometimes difficult to understand. This book is about going back and revisiting the disappearance of a young woman, and the man who was convicted of her murder with no physical evidence.

Good book further telling about lost and looted artworks during WW2. This book focuses on the author‘s search for her great grandfather‘s art. Very detailed - I felt as if I was sitting with Ms. Rynecki and hearing the story.

Looking forward to this book! I‘ve always been interested in the art and monuments that were destroyed or stolen by Nazis and opportunists. This book is written by a Litten, and tells how one determined woman works to get her great-great grandfather‘s art back.

This was a very long book. I say it‘s a pick due to all the information that‘s in it. The book is repetitive at times-sometimes verbatim. Also, Metaxas seemed to tell a lot about other people and had a lot of educated guesses as to what Bonhoeffer might have thought. I‘m glad I listened to it, but I am more glad that it is done.

Daisey Someday I will probably listen to this, but I‘m not in any real rush. If you want a short to the point biography, I really enjoyed this YA one. 5mo
