4 posts | 4 read | 6 to read
Twin sisters Kelsey and Michelle Maxfield look identical -- but they couldn't be more different. Kelsey is the captain of the dance team and loves her cute college boyfriend, Davis. Michelle is a free-spirited artist and flits from one guy to the next, the latest a soldier recently deployed to Afghanistan. Despite their differences, Kelsey and Michelle can't live without each other--until, in an instant, everything changes. When Michelle dies in a car crash, Kelsey is left without her other half. As the only one who knows about her sister's boyfriend, Peter, Kelsey takes it upon herself to find him and tell him what happened to Michelle. But when she finally connects with Peter online, he thinks that Kelsey is Michelle and says that seeing her is the one thing keeping him alive. Caught up in the moment, Kelsey can't bear to break his heart with the truth, so she lets Peter believe that she is Michelle. Kelsey keeps up the act, pretending to be her sister, and soon she can't deny that she's falling, hard, for the one boy she shouldn't want. Lara Avery delivers a breathtaking story of love and loss that is guaranteed to sweep you off your feet.

For #awesomeautumnbooks Day 3 (COVER LOVERS), I don't have any of the typical romance novel sexy covers on my bookshelf. This is the only one I could find with a romance depicted on the front. So here is A Million Miles Away, which I haven't read yet.

This book made me so anxious because of the lies! I felt so bad for Kelsey and the grief she had to deal with on her own. The whole time I kept wondering how her story was going to end when the truth came out. The ending was no surprise but I did wish for a little more. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is titled, "Surprising Book Facts", but it was cut off in this pic. I was surprised about the fact that 70% of US adults haven't been in a bookstore in the last five years. ? I'm there like every weekend lol.

#bookfacts

Marchpane I wonder how that compares to library usage? Also, 57% of new books are not read to completion? 57% ??? 8y
That-Bookish-Hiker @Marchpane I didn't think about library usage, that would be a great added fact to this. 8y

After reading an action packed trilogy I wanted to read something like and fun but when I went to my TBR shelf I had nothing like that lol. So I started this book this morning. I have a feeling this book is going to have me just as anxious as the Darkest Minds trilogy.
