Thrift store haul today. The books pictured above cost me 7 dollars for the lot. 🤘

Robotech is a late 70's early 80's anime that I used to watch while eating reeeeeeeally sugary cereal (back then we called it Japanimation). It was my gateway drug into anime and Manga in general.

These novels are adaptations of those early shows & while I doubt I'll ever read them, for 7 bucks it was worth it, if even just for the cover art and the memories. 👌

This book is definitely a product of the mid 80's. The characters are little more than caricatures of Voltron characters or really any late 70's anime. It's fine for what it is but nothing special.

All that being said I did finish it in one day. That is a rare occurrence for me.
