pickThe book focuses more on the bond between the boys, as opposed to the survival aspect, which is something I personally prefer. Watching them work together to survive was heart warming and wholesome, though not realistic, if that‘s your thing.
pickTwo boys who don't get along are shipwrecked and must work together to survive in the Alaska wilderness. This #audiobook, performed with youthful animation by Christopher Gebauer, is aimed at readers from about age 7-12. It's 8 hours long and would be good for a family road trip.
so-soRead with my son. For me, too many plot elements and too much tension, but it's a readable middle grade survival story with a vivid setting.
