Perennials takes place over two summers at Camp Marigold. Each chapter focuses on a different character. The first chapters didn't work very well because the characters were too similar, so it was difficult to determine who was who. As the story progressed it was easier to follow the characters. The last few chapters were absolutely amazing. So much happens at the end of the novel, and I think I cried for at least the last 20 pages.
