panThere was a very powerful, very vivid description of terrorism in this novel, and there was also some beautiful writing about cities. Despite this, this novel didn't really do much for me. I also could have done without the descriptions of how one character would constantly abuse his cat. Was this supposed to be funny? Because it's not. #2024Book32
