The story succeeds as a true mystery/thriller since it keeps you questioning the narrator all the way through to the end. But I just can't get fully on board with the way it depicts mental health, especially the involuntary inpatient process.

Wow, this book. I picked this one up almost purely due to a desire to see what all the fuss was about. But I‘m so glad I did. Backman masterfully tackles vital issues in today‘s society and will leave me thinking for quite some time. #ATY2017

I‘ve resisted jumping on the bandwagon all this time but I must say, the first one makes me interested in continuing. I‘m intrigued to see more depth and character development as the series progresses. #ATY2017
