Started this book of short stories last night, the first story was so creepy! Interestingly though, Butler puts afterwards after each story describing what she was thinking of/going for and how the story is usually interpreted...and strangely I got some of that and a bit more too.
So interesting to see how stories hold up, and mean different things in different ages depending on the experiences of the reader.

TheSpineView I've read that collection of short stories and enjoyed them. My favorite is Speech Sounds. 7y
