pickAbsolute fabulous book, I highly recommend it. The author also has a podcast called Betwixt the Sheets, which covers everything from Female Pirates to Medieval Sex to the History of Women in Football.

Part historical, part present day. This book would have been absolute perfection and a full 5 stars if it was just the historical story. I wasn‘t keen on the present day aspect and could have done without it
as it was boring and I wasn‘t very interested in the characters
The characters in the historical part were however brilliant and I can see them sticking with me for a long time
