pickI have been visiting the public library a lot recently and it got me thinking about my own classroom library. I knew I owned a book about a library, I just needed to find it. This entails, some searching on my part through big boxes. And lo and behold I found it, “Library Mouse” written and illustrated by Daniel Kirk. This adorable children‘s book is about a mouse named Sam. He lives in the children‘s section. (Now that‘s an awesome pad! 😍)
AJones He‘s quite educated with a 1000+ books in his home. After sometime, he makes a decision to create his very own book and shares with his fellow patrons. His single book turns into multiple books and they soon draw attention from children and the librarians. Eventually they want to meet this famous author. His ‘Meet the Author‘ event is an amazing idea! I need to do something similar on parent‘s night for my students. A must read! 🐭 💛 📚 6y

AJones @DrSpalding Thank you! I owe this new found perspective from your course. 💙 Kirk is a wonderful writer. The images and plots are perfect for young readers. I hope to own some more of his lovely books about Sam. Thanks for the added link, I will definitely be doing some more shopping to build my classroom.
