Bookwomble We visited Russia in 1991, just before Yeltsin came to power, and visited the Mariinsky Hospital for the Poor, Dostoyevsky's childhood home where his father was doctor, and the Dostoevsky Literary Museum in Leningrad (as it still was). I was rather awe-struck to be in places so intimately connected with him. 6mo
