Title: The Throne of Fire
Author: Rick Riordan
Genre: Fantasy
Date Started: October 5, 2019
Date Completed: October 24, 2019
How did you choose this book: I read the first book of the Kane Chronicles and decided to read the second book so I borrowed it from the EPL.
Summary: Although they may have won their fight with Set, the god of evil and chaos, Sadie Kane and Carter Kane have much bigger obstacles to overcome. (part 1/3)
*452 pages*

DJasmine Now the two siblings train young magicians to master their skills while also preparing to prevent Apophis, the Chaos snake, from escaping his prison and destroying the world. They only have a few days to stop this from happening, but the first step to do so is to gather the Book of Ra and then learn how to chant the spells it contains.
(part 2/3)
(edited) 2mo
DJasmine Then awaken and resurrect the sun god, Ra, in order to get help so that they can stop Apophis; the problem is, no one knows where the sun god exactly is. Will they be able to stop Apophis or will the world come to an end?
(part 3/3)

Don't all self-respecting professional adults use their lunch hours to go buy books meant for people years younger than they are? Happy release day to these two beauties! #RainbowRowell #RickRiordan #bookhaul

I've got the idea now, these cross overs are short stories.
I liked this one a lot better than The Son of Sobek.
It didn't feel as rushed, felt more natural.
Still too damn short.

Cool idea, way too short.
Percy Jackson and Carter Caine cross over, Greece and Egypt.
Great idea, bit his book is real short, luckily there are more books, but they look pretty small too.
Kinda dissapointed, so far.

Enjoyed the lunch date with my friend Sarayu and took advantage of the Barnes and Noble #bookhaul sale. Almost done with the Percy Jackson series and wanted to start the next one soon so when I saw it on sale and had to get it!

BookHoarder32 Love Percy! And the rest of the heroes, and Apollo! Lol enjoy! 9mo
Schnoebs @BookHoarder32 I never read it as a kid, I was introduced to Percy Jackson through the movies. I absolutely love the movies but that because I didn‘t know about the books before! Now I‘m just having a blast and can‘t wait to read more! 9mo
BookHoarder32 Awesome! I finally finished the Heroes of Olympus series just last year. They're chunksters for sure, but so good. 9mo
