Pickpick

I‘ve read this story to my kids several times since we checked it out from the library and it‘s fantastic.

Burcaw talks about being differently abled candidly and with humor, showing us his differences and similarities to able bodied people. Highly recommended to grade schoolers and their adults.

Tamra My library only has his older audience chapter book. 😑 I‘ll have to keep my eyes peeled for this one. (edited) 7y
[DELETED] 3803335244 My oldest son was asked about his “disability” because he is autistic. He said he didn‘t have disabilities, that he only has abilities, so don‘t dis-his-abilities. I loved that! I guess his former boyscott leader told him that. And I love that ❤️ 7y
