The Fascination | Essie Fox

This is definitely a fascinating and darkly gothic tale. It‘s mysterious, atmospheric and even contains some horror. It‘s beautifully and skillfully written. The imagery is wonderful. There‘s an underlying thread of creepiness and a hint of the macabre woven into the plot. The characters are colourful. I was totally immersed in their quite disturbing and peculiar world. There is a little twist at the end. An extremely enjoyable read. #TBConFB

I was recommended this book by tracy fenton at #TBConFB and it didn't disappoint. I can't say I particularly liked any of the characters but that wasn't important at all, they were all messed up individuals with issues but them and the story line had my heart pounding at times. throughly enjoyed.

Loved loved loved this book! I literally cancelled my whole life while reading it as I just couldn't put it down. This book flows so well and I really felt that I was seeing the world through Edwards eyes so massive credit to the author. This book has left me feeling on a high and I can't wait to read the sequal. Thanks to Helen Boyce at #TBConFB for the recommendation.
