pickThis was a fun change of pace from my other reading. It‘s the first book in a series about a former soldier turned private investigator in an interesting fantasy world including half-elves, grolls, vampires, centaurs, and violent unicorns. There‘s not a lot of detailed world building, but there are plenty of fights and quite a bit of humor.
