As it so happens, my favourite YA novel is one l'm rereading now after many many years... although l don't think thr YA genre existed when this book came out 😉

It is a beautiful story. I'm enjoying it now as much as when l was a kid, if for different reasons.

I'd love to read His Dark Materials 😊

I‘d been actively avoiding series books for years when I stumbled upon The Familiar and it sucked me back in. So far it‘s been a totally unique experience that‘s more satisfying the more you put into it. I just really hope the series gets completed. I did not jump back into this madness for nothing. 😂

I had Ben (age 12) choose a recommendation for the #yafantasygiveaway. He picked the Tapestry. It has s bit of an HP or Percy Jackson vibe, but it's really a good series.

We love Narnia, but have a set of those, so we'd pick Dark Materials.
