I understand how Hermione feels--it's frustrating to do exactly what you're supposed to, and then find someone experimenting & improvising who has better results! I'm such a rule-follower... and also am not fond of change. I forget that adaptability can be very helpful. Discerning when to be adaptable... now there's the trick. #hpchapteraday

And in Potions, Harry benefits by taking a chance & adapting to the notes in his borrowed book whereas Hermione insists on following the book to the letter. This is important today if we're going ro defend against the abuses that threaten today, we need to stay adaptable.
