That moment when too many of your anticipated book releases for the year came out on the same day and you can't pick which one to read first 😱
Notafraidofwords What are your choices? 9y
BookishFeminist @Notafraidofwords Lol, just about everything that came out today. The Fireman, Girls on Fire, Shrill, The Gene, and that's just off the top of my head. I'll figure it out (probably the quickest one I can grab), mostly just figured y'all could sympathize! 9y
Notafraidofwords I heard such good things about The Gene! 9y

Megabooks #preach! I've had 4 new books come in at library, and I bought the one I'm reading now. #livingdangerously #goodluck 9y
BookishFeminist @JSW the struggle is *definitely* real, alive & well here! @Ebooksandcooks At this point I've (mostly) (ok I'm lying) come to terms with the fact that I'll always have too much checked out from the library at any given time. I definitely "donate" a lot of fine money & live life on the edge. *sigh* 9y
GuiltyFeat The trick is just to keep reading. I read one book at a time only, but try to keep the pace to around two books per week. Either you'll get to the books you want to read or you won't, just make sure you enjoy yourself. 9y
BookishFeminist Haha @GuiltyFeat there's no concern about that here! I've always got a book on me & go through several in a week. Always enjoyable, never enough time! :) The plight of a book nerd. 9y
Sue My favourite problem to have. Especially when you can't choose and buy something else and read that instead 😂 9y
BookishFeminist @Sue Right? Also when you get too impatient for your hold to come in at the library so you cave and buy it instead 💸💸 9y
Sue Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on your POV) my local library is sufficiently crap to not be in the equation - one thing less to feel guilty about :) 9y
