pickI liked the beginning and middle more than the ending - the letters between Susan and Augusta became tedious. I think it was most impactful to realize that being a human has always been hard - it was hard in the 1800s and it is hard now. All humans crave the same things and sometimes we get them and sometimes we don't. Also, a great read for west coast Americans - all very historic places! #angleofrepose
