I‘d seen the documentary, but didn‘t realize there was a companion book as well. Gorgeous photography and lots of positive affirmations from dark-skinned women about why they love being dark. Enjoyed Sheryl Lee Ralph‘s story about meeting a little girl who thought she‘d be darker. A lovely book ❤️
