so-soPirates, Princesses, Kingdoms and Sea Queens. I could be wrong but this almost felt like a adult retelling of “The Little Mermaid” mixed with the enemies to lovers trope. However, there was just not enough loving for my liking. This had been sold to me by #boktok and I was hoping for that little spice but it was just a little lacking. The ending felt a little rushed but I enjoyed the book overall. A solid 3/5.
