The third and current performer at #BookAndBar is Hideki Nakanishi from Japan (spelling might be off, we haven't chatted with him yet). He does New Age guitar and mandolin and uses light electronic beats also. Somewhat psychedelic and quite incentive. Almost like watching a jazz performer to their thing.

The second gentleman to perform at #BookAndBar is Per Boysen, who hails from Sweden and is touring the US for a month or so. His music is akin to New Age with some light electronic beats tossed in. Really, really good. We got to chat with him for quite awhile, and he's a deeply personable fellow. 😁👍🏻👍🏻

We're back at #BookAndBar having some great drinks! @BookBabe 's having a hot toddy, and I'm having a Walk In the Woods tea, which has sarsaparilla, orange peel, cinnamon, red rose petals, and ginger. Wow! This is a unique and terrific tea!

And...after-dinner drinks at the famous #BookAndBar! I got a hot toddy. Perfect for a chilly autumn night. We came at the best time—experimental electronic music night! We met musicians from France, Sweden, and Japan. Amazing stuff! Plus we browsed and bought books. A splendid evening indeed!

Time for dinner 😁👏🏻! We're eating on the waterfront this evening at a highly-recommended place called #Surf, just a few blocks from #BookAndBar.
I‘m having miso-crusted crispy salmon on a bed of crispy sticky jasmine rice with sesame seeds, with grilled asparagus and shiitake mushrooms. Delicious! Paired with a Pinot Noir because I just like red wine so much better than white. 🍷

Dinner at #Surf is now served! I got a special tonight: grilled swordfish, saffron rice, arugula and roasted cherry tomatoes, and iced tea (because I'm driving later). MMMmmmm 😋! After this, back to #BookAndBar!

Visiting home this weekend, and of course I couldn't go without a trip to one of my favorite local bookstores, Portsmouth Book and Bar. I told myself I wasn't going to buy anything...but that lasted about one step into the store. #getindie #bookandbar
