I was the only person in my book club who didn't like this. Maybe if I'd lived here longer? It all felt kind of meaningless to me, and it started out with a serial rapist (NOPE). I think the author should have edited himself out a lot more, too.

The information in this book was really good and presented in an interesting and fun way. But I was a little offended at the constant use of the word "normals" as an opposite for "nerd". It felt like it was mocking me, and the very sort of people who read a book about the history of batman. #bookbingo #roguebookbingo #bookbyalocalauthor
