pickLt Taylor Jackson is back at work after having shot and killed someone attacking her in her home…who turned out to be a fellow, dirty cop. Now she‘s faced with a young woman found dead and posed with herbs on her. Turns out this is actually the kickoff of a series and I‘m eager to read more. The story is propulsive, the writing engaging, and I really liked the characters.
