Sometimes it‘s hard for me to choose between my mother tongue (German) and Englisch. Especially if there is a translated book. Dilara My mother tongue is French but I used to live in the UK. I stopped reading English books translated into French years ago: they all feel wrong! That doesn't stop me from reading translations from other languages...
When I can, I like to read the French translations of books originally written in a Romance language, and the English translations of books originally written in a Germanic language. I practice, I read the version I can find 😊 2d
Bookperson96 👍🏻🙂 @Dilara Might try to do that as well. Had French in school and liked it. Currently do not have much to do with it though, which is sad. 2d
