panI knew this book would be trashy, but it was worse than I imagined. It was a poorly written faux erotica masquerading as wannabe literature (or maybe this is the kind of romance men like to read?). I was fine with it being bad until there was such a chasm of consequence between the male and female protagonists following the events of the book. It feels like this book missed an opportunity to make a comment rather than pulling a ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ #cattail
