Clarence Major (b.1936) is a prolific writer who is also under appreciated. My 👀 landed on this new collection of his work while rewarding myself with a twirl around the library after dropping off my ballot at the Board of Election Commissioners, yesterday. #clarencemajor

Anna40 I would say Mascha Kaléko but she's no longer underappreciated;). Thanks for recommending Clarence Major. My library has one of his short story collections Chicago Heat and other stories. Looking forward to reading them :) 4y
