so-soI hoped this one would be as good as I remembered, but I had to accept it wasn't. Some scenes were indeed very very creepy and worth my reading time, but the characters in this book are close to be #caricatures of squeaky clean good and abnormal evil, without any grey areas. At least it serves as a reminder why I stopped reading Koontz 20 years ago...

Horrortorte @DivineDiana My complaints are mostly about the incredibly clichéd characters (especially the way Koontz writes women) and how this spoils the story for me. I agree with you, some scenes in this book were still raising the hairs on my neck ? Too bad other parts made me roll my eyes, olympic level... ? 4y
