I think Kitty Burns Florey is my spirit animal. As a self-professed lover of penmanship, KBF wrote a book about the history of penmanship and poses the question: Are penmanship and #cursive lessons still needed in today's technological world? Kitty and I believe they are. So does Bushy the Owl.
#fallintobooks (I'm going to spend the month trying not to post anything for #fallintonooks, because that is how I keep typing this hashtag! 😂)
TheWordJar And if you are interested in more KBF, she has an excellent book on diagramming sentences (which makes me very happy!): 7y

[DELETED] 3803335244 I teach & have my kids practice cursive. I too believe it's needed. I will admit my handwriting is not good. I used to have good handwriting but I became a nurse & became sloppy. Nice Owl 🦉😍😍😍😍 7y
Wife Yes! #cursive If they are no longer teaching it when my grandson goes to school, I will be teaching him. 📖🖋 7y

RealLifeReading Cute owl! 7y
TheWordJar We do handwriting and cursive too @ForeverNerdy. I always loved handwriting in school, so mine was pretty good. The only thing that really helped me with later in life is having family ask me to make signs for various events since my handwriting is the most legible! But I still love it! 7y
TheWordJar Thanks @RealLifeReading! I'm slowly starting to take out my fall and Halloween decorations! 7y
