so-soI‘m not gonna lie- I think I am too dumb for this one. I enjoyed the imagery and ideas of a haunted house as a generational curse, but I was confused very often. I don‘t have an issue with being confused. I‘m just not sure if that was the point or not.

dabbe That does NOT mean you're dumb! Sometimes books just don't connect with people. That's why I embrace the idea of #hailingthebail or #fanningthepan. In order for a book to be understood, the writer AND the reader need to make a connection. And if that doesn't happen, the reader moves on to something better for her! 🩶🩷🩶 3d
