pickThis book made me cry! It wasn‘t ideal - a massive twist occurred while I was driving to an appointment (I listened to the audiobook) and I bawled my eyes out, then had to explain myself to a couple of concerned reception staff 😂 I enjoyed the writing style and the way the multiple narratives overlapped to come together and become clear in the end. I read The Pearl Thief first, which added to my reading experience. Recommend. #ihavetoldthetruth
