Cool setting and I liked the game, clues, hidden keys etc but I did pick the culprit early.

So fun! Decent murder mystery with one absurd detail - a talking cat. Thoroughly enjoyed it and am annoyed at the 6 month wait for the audiobook of the sequel from my local library 🐈

Really nice read after The Dictionary of Lost Words. Audio by Annabelle Tudor great to listen to. I didn‘t feel as connected to the story as I did with DoLW but I still enjoyed the characters. I wouldn‘t have enjoyed it as much if I hadn‘t read DoLW first though.

Ladies: please read this book. Kaz Cooke has compiled some of the most incredibly infuriating facts, making for a fascinating yet enraging read. The best book I have in my collection - I also listened to the audiobook, but the real thing has photos. An astounding read. Do yourselves a favour! #mustread

The first book by Liane Moriarty that I didn‘t enjoy. I really love the sensation of the twist reveal in her books but this one left me shrugging my shoulders. I guess I just never warmed to any of the characters. I was quite disappointed after really loving all of the other books I‘ve read by this author.

I‘ve heard rave reviews but… I don‘t get it. The storytelling was interesting but the interview style was confusing early on - maybe it was because I was listening to the audiobook and not seeing the words in the page, but I lost track of the characters and ended up abandoning the book for a couple of months and starting over recently. The story was ok, loads of people behaving badly to the point it was the norm, leaving Camila as my MVP. It‘s ok.

Quite enjoyed hearing Tom Felton in my ear each night as I went to sleep. His story was darker than I expected. Compelling and interesting.

Found it predictable and the “subtle” clues were blatantly waved right at me, so for me there was zero mystery. Still, I found myself wanting to read on, if only to prove my own predictions were correct. They were 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thoroughly enjoyed this! Loved the exploration of the political and strategic background of the games and the development of the future President Snow and the influences that shaped him.

Reread this gem 23 years after my first reading in year 9. Apart from a few aged references to Telecom and shoulder pads, this story absolutely still translates and resonates. My view of Josie has changed with my age and experience, making this reading different but still enjoyable.

I quite enjoyed this. A nice little mystery in a high school setting with multiple strands weaving throughout the story. A good, tense and satisfying ending.

Loved this book! There‘s just something about Stephen Fry, he‘s brilliant. I‘ve always enjoyed Greek mythology and this book‘s storytelling makes it so accessible. Having it read to me by the author himself was great.

Really liked this! I got an email from a bookstore I shop at, with a chapter to read and a competition to guess the author. That chapter had me hooked and I bought the book as soon as it came out. Then I had a baby and got too tired to read at night 🤦🏻‍♀️ I put the book aside but found myself thinking of the characters and events quite often. When I got some sleep under my belt I picked the book up again and finished it. A great read!

This was an interesting read and I enjoyed getting to know the characters. The idea of knowing the date of your death and the exploration of whether the characters met their end because of what they were told or if their end could have been different were intriguing to me.

I am really enjoying this series! I do wish I had discovered it a few years in the future when all the books have been published because the cliffhangers are killer and the waits have been so long! I‘m thoroughly enjoying the mysteries in this series, I‘m so much looking forward to the next book being published.

I enjoyed all three books in this trilogy by Sara Shepard, author of the Pretty Little Liars books, none of which I have read. Each had a great twist at the end but none outdid the awesome twist at the end of the first book. A decent mystery series with likeable characters. The cliffhangers made me immediately reach for the next book each time. Found the whole thing enjoyable.

The third I‘ve read and they all make me laugh out loud. The brilliant narration for the audiobook absolutely adds to my enjoyment of this series, along with the hilarious description of local villagers and the sharp, biting remarks of the main character. #agatharaisin

This book made me cry! It wasn‘t ideal - a massive twist occurred while I was driving to an appointment (I listened to the audiobook) and I bawled my eyes out, then had to explain myself to a couple of concerned reception staff 😂 I enjoyed the writing style and the way the multiple narratives overlapped to come together and become clear in the end. I read The Pearl Thief first, which added to my reading experience. Recommend. #ihavetoldthetruth

I really enjoyed this book on more than one level. I liked the mystery aspect and I kind of, almost, had it pegged correctly... almost. 😏 But for me the self-discovery of Flynn and his developing understanding of exactly who he is and who the missing January is (or was) played out beautifully and I enjoyed getting to know the characters, as each was not as they first seemed. I‘ll be reading this author again.
