so-soI found it odd that the main female protagonist, Tej, fades into the background almost completely in the last half of the book. She becomes such a passive character, as does the male protagonist, Ivan, to some extent.
On the one hand, it was fun to revisit the world that Bujold built in the Miles universe and check-in on some of the characters. On the other hand, this was only an “okay“ story.
